Les Entreprises Gérard Doucet Ltd. is a family business that was founded in 1983 by Gerard Doucet, a man who has devoted his life to these little blue beads called blueberries.

Bleuetière Saguenay was the first blueberry field developed by this entrepreneur. Since then, the company has developed two more, one in St- Honoré and one in Shipshaw.

After several years of research on blueberries, their antioxidants and their health properties, the Transformation Division of the company, Bleu & Boreal, is launching a line of products made ​​of wild blueberries. These antioxidant-rich products are intended for human as well as animal consumption.

This family business is owned and operated by Gerard Doucet and his daughter, Annick, and they hope to keep this wild blueberry adventure going for several more generations!
